I built Provider Plexus after seeing two things repeatedly in healthcare: physicians value their independence, and independence can be isolating. Autonomy matters. So does having colleagues and infrastructure around you.

Primary care physicians struggle to reach specialists. Specialists rarely know the clinicians sending them patients. Practices buy technology one product at a time. Useful innovations struggle to become part of everyday care.

None of those problems requires turning independent physicians into employees of one organization. They require a better network around them: people who know one another, tools that work together, and a shared place to build better care.
